From the Apr 29, 2025 e-EditionMr. Fred Henry Allen, 80, of Huntingdon, Tennessee died Monday, April 21, 2025 at his home.
Funeral services were Thursday, April 24, 2025, in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home, with Bro. Bobby Jordan and Sister Billie Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Hampton Cemetery.
Pallbearers who will serve are Morgan Napier, Jacob Wilder, Simon Avalon, Jeremy Clay, Justin Wilkes, Charles Wilkes, and Paul Hollingsworth.
Mr. Allen was born on December 26, 1944, to the late Fred B. and Ruby Irene Depriest Allen. He was a member of Solid Rock Ministries and a factory worker making construction products. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Willie B. Allen, Ray Allen, and a sister, Lorene Allen.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Bernice Allen, daughters Sandra Wilkes (Charles) of McKenzie, Tracy Lynn Allen of Bruceton, sons Steven Ray Allen, of Iowa, Mack Napier (Mikki), of Huntingdon, and a brother, Howard Allen (Billie) of Huntingdon. He also leaves seven grandchildren, Mack Napier, Autumn Gullett, Grayce Napier, Morgan Napier, Charles Wilkes, Justin Wilkes, and Simon Carter, as well as nine great-grandchildren
