From the May 7, 2024 e-EditionHUNTINGDON (May 1) — The following cases were heard in the Carroll County General Sessions Court on May 1.
Two defendants were bound over to the Grand Jury of the Carroll County Circuit Court.
Destin Fuller, Highway 79, Atwood, was bound over on charges of Tampering With Evidence, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Schedule VI Drugs- Manufacture, Deliver, Sell or Possess, and Possession of a Firearm with Intent to Go Armed.
Joshua Rutherford, Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville, bound over on charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Speeding, Violation of Financial Responsibility, Schedule VI Drugs - Manufacture, Deliver, Sell or Possess, Simple Possession or Casual Exchange.
The following defendants were found guilty.
Corey Ballentine, Kemp Road, Martin, guilty, Probation Violation, 11/29 jail, defendant can receive day-for-day credit for inpatient rehab.
John Johnson, Oaklawn Drive, McKenzie, guilty, Drivers License to be Carried and Exhibited, 30 days suspended sentence, 28 days probation, must get driver’s license.
Kaylee Jordan, Maytown Road, Huntingdon, pre-trial diversion, Livestock Running at Large , $700 restitution, six months probation.
Ashley Brooke Martin, Pratt Cemetery Road, Milan, guilty, Drivers License Must Be Carried and Exhibited, 30 days probation; dismissed, Vehicle Entering Through Highway or Stop Intersection.
Garland D. Moore, II, Stanford Hill Lane, Cedar Grove, Driving While Canceled-Second or Subsequent Offense, $250 fine, 11/29 Sentence, suspended to two days, 11/27 supervised probation, $250 fine.
Shawn Nieves, Forrest Circle, McKenzie, guilty, Probation Violation, 30 days sentence, probation extended for three months; dismissed, Criminal Impersonation.
Jamie Patrick O’Mahoney, Lexington Street, Bruceton, guilty, Simple Possession/Casual Exchange, $750 fine, 11/29 jail with furlough for alcohol and drug treatment inpatient; dismissed, Driving While Suspended; dismissed, Criminal Trespass.
Jeffery E. Rice, Main Street, Hollow Rock, guilty, Criminal Impersonation, six months probation; dismissed, Failure to Appear.
Charles Tillman, Barker Road, Huntingdon, guilty, Driving While Revoked, $100 fine, six months probation, must make good faith effort to obtain restricted license.
The following cases were dismissed.
Dominique Bailey, Highway 22, Clarksburg, dismissed, Driving While License Suspended; dismissed, Light Law Violation.
Wendy L. Calderon, Highway 124, McKenzie, dismissed, Simple Possession/Casual Exchange; dismissed, Contraband in Penal Facility, dismissed, Probation Violation.
Joshua Haynes, Barksdale Avenue, McKenzie, dismissed, Driving While Suspended, dismissed, Violation of Financial Responsibility.
Robert Dean Robinson, Cole Street. McKenzie, dismissed, Driving While Suspended; dismissed, Financial Responsibility.
Katie Elizabeth Walker, Highland Drive, McKenzie, dismissed, Driving While Suspended, dismissed, Seat Belt Violation; dismissed, Violation of Financial Responsibility.
