The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Perritt, 96, died at her residence on Monday, September 9, 2024. She was born in Paris, TN, on July 2, 1928, to Comus Postic Scott and Lena Hazel Cobb Scott. She is a retired cashier for local Restaurants.
She is survived by her daughter Sandra Hawkins of McKenzie, three grandchildren Becki Durham of McKenzie, Jeff (Lisa) Hawkins of McKenzie, and Justin (Anna) Hawkins of Jonesboro, AR, and eight great-grandchildren Hunter Johnson, Alyssa Hawkins, Jacob Johnson, Seth Johnson, Ava Durham, Noah Hawkins, Libby Hawkins, and Ella Hawkins.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Harrell Perritt, two sons, Jimmy Perritt, Stan Perritt, and one grandson, Curt Perritt.
