Glenda Inez Crabtree

SPRINGVILLE, TENN - Glenda Inez Crabtree, age 73 of Springville, died Sunday, January 12, 2025, at her residence. 

Glenda devoted many years of her life to working as a waitress at both Buchanan Resort and Had-A-Call. Outside of her career, she enjoyed a variety of hobbies like putting together puzzles and sewing. Glenda also had a passion for cooking, and enjoyed unwinding by watching true-crime shows.

She was born on September 15, 1951, in Greenfield, Tenn. to the late J.W. Miller and late Linda Horton Miller.

Glenda married James David “Jim” Crabtree on April 24, 1979, and he preceded her in death on September 9, 2008

She is survived by four daughters, Amanda (Chad) Cox of Como, Tenn., Jamie Crabtree of Springville, Tenn., Alisha Davis (James Knox) of Springville, Tenn., and Sadie Crabtree of Paris, Tenn.; one son, Mikie Crabtree of Springville, Tenn.; two sisters, Pam Brown, and Debbie Martin; six grandchildren, Michael, Skyler, Jacob, Katie, Emily, and Blake; and two great-grandchildren. 

Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Monda Eddlemon; and one brother, Marvin Miller.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Friday, January 17, 2025, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be Friday, January 17, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Kenny Louden officiating.

Burial will follow at Poplar Grove Cemetery, Springville, Tenn. with Skylar Wolfer, Blake Davis, Katie Crabtree, Sadie Crabtree, Jacob Crabtree, and Jackie Knox serving as pallbearers.
