Hastings is McKenzie Homecoming Queen

McKENZIE (January 16) — McKenzie High School celebrated basketball Homecoming Friday night. Prior to games against Houston County, the Homecoming court was presented and junior Ava Hastings was crowned queen.

Hastings is the 16-year-old daughter of Dru and Jamie Emerson and Darius Hastings. She was escorted by junior Cole Brown, son of Chad and Josie Brown.

Other members of the court included:

Senior Gracie Aird, 18-year-old daughter of Matt and Misty Aird, escorted by senior Carlton Townes, grandson of Carol Townes and great-grandson of Marsha Townes and Du-Jack Townes.

Senior Ashley Dunavant, 17-year-old daughter of Melissa Oswalt and James Dunavant, escorted by junior Avery Brown, son of Cody and Megan Brown.

Senior Molly French, 18-year-old daughter of Christina French and Misty Gibson, escorted by senior Eli Vinson, son of Angela Douglas.

Senior Miley Prince, 18-year-old daughter of Michael and Jessica Prince, escorted by sophomore Cooper Davidson, son of Jonathan and Lesley Davidson.
