Henry County Man Charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Minor

PARIS, Tenn. (September 22) — A Henry County man is held on $50,000 bond following his arrest on charges of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Ronald Cummings, 64, of Henry County was arrested on the afternoon of Sunday, September 22. He was charged by investigators with sexual exploitation of a minor with a court hearing date of September 24 and his bond is $50,000 while held in the Henry County Jail.
The case was a fast-moving one, with social media posts on Facebook over the weekend referencing photos of women’s photos with sexual comments post on them.
According to Radionwtn.com, in a follow-up, the sheriff’s office issued a press release stating Ronald Cummings was arrested and booked into the Henry County Jail. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is aware of the social media post that was circulating of several women’s pictures that included sexual comments. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office posted earlier Sunday afternoon: “These pictures appear to have been taken from others social media pages. We are actively investigating the social media page and ask the public to please contact the Henry County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division if you’ve seen a minor child picture with any type of comment on the post. We also ask that you refrain from sharing the original post.”
This case is still an ongoing investigation with more charges expected.
Sheriff Josh Frey said, “We ask anyone that has information about this case please contact Henry County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division at 731-642-1672.
Sheriff Frey thanked the public for their assistance in this case.
