Henry County Hospital Keeps It Spotless
5-Star Cleanliness for the Second Year in a Row
From the Jun 3, 2025 e-Edition
PARIS (May 28) — West Tennessee Healthcare- Henry County Hospital has earned a prestigious 5-star rating for cleanliness from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
This rating was awarded based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) surveys conducted between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024. The CMS survey measures patient satisfaction with hospital cleanliness and the overall care environment. This recognition places WTHHCH among the top hospitals in the nation, underscoring its commitment to providing a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for its patients.
"It is truly humbling to be one of only five hospitals in the state of Tennessee to achieve this recognition and to do it two years in a row is a remarkable accomplishment for our staff. Our team continues to hold themselves accountable for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness for the protection of our patients and fellow partners," said Environmental Services Director at WTHHCH, Tommy Hayes.
The CMS HCAHPS survey is a national, standardized survey of hospital patients’ experiences during their inpatient stay. The most recent data update was on January 8, 2025, and highlights the Paris hospitals’ commitment to ensuring the best possible environment for its patients.
