Heritage, Service Honored at Annual Festival

HUNTINGDON — The opening ceremony of the Huntingdon Heritage Festival on Saturday, September 19, served as a heartwarming celebration of community, tradition, and dedicated public service. Gathering under bright skies, town officials and local residents formally recognized two pillars of the community: the Bennett family, named the 2026 Pioneer Family of the Year, and Ronnie Breeden, honored as the 2026 Outstanding Citizen of the Year. Both recognitions highlighted the core values of faith, family, hard work, and deep-rooted commitment that continue to define the Carroll County area.
