Huntingdon High School Hosts Annual Marching Invitational

HUNTINGDON (October 5) — The annual Huntingdon Marching Invitational was Saturday at Paul Ward Stadium. The all-day affair featured 19 bands competing in six preliminary classes, with ten bands competing in finals competition.
Carroll County bands McKenzie, West Carroll and Central all had a good showing and brought home multiple trophies.
Preliminary Awards
Class A
Drum Major: First Place - Central (Isaac Walker); Second Place - Halls (Chloe Alley).
Color Guard: First Place - Central; Second Place - Halls.
Percussion: First Place - Central; Second Place - Halls.
Band: First Place - Central; Second Place - Halls; Third Place - Haywood.
Class AA
Drum Major: First Place - Dyersburg (Luke Pepito); Second Place - West Carroll (Maritza Barajas).
Color Guard: First Place - McKenzie; Second Place - McEwen.
Percussion: First Place - West Carroll; Second Place - Dyersburg.
Band: First Place - McKenzie; Second Place - McEwen; Third Place - Dyersburg.
Class AAA
Drum Major: First Place - Camden (June Petrino); Second Place - Scotts Hill (Mattie Skelton).
Color Guard: First Place - Milan; Second Place - Scotts Hill.
Percussion: First Place - Riverside; Second Place - Milan.
Band: First Place - Milan; Second Place - Camden; Third Place - Scotts Hill (Also competing - Bolivar).
Class AAAA
Drum Major: First Place - Forrest (Zivah Knight and Hannah Miller); Second Place - Gibson County (Mason Lockard and Macie French).
Color Guard: First Place - Forrest; Second Place - Gibson County.
Percussion: First Place - Forrest; Second Place - Crockett County.
Band: First Place - Forrest; Second Place - Gibson County; Third Place - Crockett County (Also competing - Chester County).
