The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce released the following schedule of Christmas parades.

Huntingdon Main Street Christmas
Saturday, December 14 from noon-7 p.m. Join The Dixie and the Town of Huntingdon for a community-favorite: lighting of the tree at City Hall, great food and pop-up vendors, Court Theatre movie showings, holiday choirs, and more!
West Carroll Holiday Mart
The ninth annual Holiday Mart, located at West Carroll High School Auxiliary Gym from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, December 14. Sponsored by Class of 2025 Project Graduation. If interested in a vendor booth call or text 731-571-7392.
Carroll Arts Presents A Mistletoe Christmas
Carroll Arts presents A Mistletoe Christmas, a variety show featuring local talent, Thursday, December 5 at 7 p.m. at the McKenzie Park Theatre. Admission is $7 at the door. Tickets available ahead of time from Leigh Goodwin 901-481-5859 and Carol Armpriest 731-393-3048 and at the door. Admission is $7. Come support the arts.
Bethel University Christmas with Renaissance
Bethel University announces the return of its beloved holiday tradition, “Christmas with Renaissance,” a captivating musical celebration that has become a staple event across West Tennessee. Show times are Friday, December 6, 7 p.m., Saturday, December 7, 2 and 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 8, 2 p.m. The performances are in the Dickey Fine Arts Building on the Bethel University campus. Tickets are available for purchase now, with Preferred Tickets priced at $20 and General Admission Tickets at $15. There is also a limited number of VIP tickets at $50. This ticket price gives you the best seat in the house and includes special Renaissance gifts. A discount is available for groups of 10 or more. Polar Express at the Lodge at Paris Landing

December 7 — Inman Middle School PAC is hosting the 9th Annual Mistletoe Market in the Inman gym with over 25 booths with local small businesses and crafters from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. This would be a great place to do some early Christmas shopping and find those one-of-a-kind gifts. December 7 — Support the youth of Henry County as the KPAC Young Artists HarmoniX acapella group and the Vocal Express, present their Christmas Concert at the KPAC at 7 p.m. To learn information, call 731-644-2517.
December 8 — At KPAC, the Paris-Henry County Community Concert Band will play at 3 p.m. featuring Christmas music and a guest artist, Dr. Christa Frye. Trim A Tree Thanksgiving At The Refuge
Have the family in for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and looking for something to do, especially something that is free? Do you really need a place that is designed for kids of all ages? Then come on down to the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center on Friday, November 29 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. for a fun day with the whole family! The refuge is teaming up with the Friends of Tennessee NWR to host their annual “Trim a Tree for Wildlife” event. This day will focus on making Christmas ornaments out of things from nature as well as suggestions on how to trim your outdoor tree for wildlife. Located at 1371 Wildlife Drive in Springville, the fully interactive wildlife exhibits combined with experiencing a beautiful day of Kentucky Lake can make for a pleasant day in itself. But during this special Saturday event, the entire center will be filled with kid-friendly craft tables. Hot chocolate and cookies will be offered by a warm fireplace. Folks will be on hand outside to point out the newly arriving waterfowl in the bay. There will be several more crafts to complete on the back patio as well as a wood fire going. Participants will be invited to roast a marshmallow to make a yummy s’more.
