Huntingdon Beer Board, Town Council to Meet February 24
From the Feb 24, 2026 e-EditionThe Huntingdon Town Council and Beer Board meets Tuesday, February 24, at 5:15 p.m. at Huntingdon City Hall.
The Huntingdon Beer Board will consider an application filed by CashSaver, located at 20150 Main Street East in Huntingdon, for a permit to sell beer at retail for off-premise consumption.
The following items are on the Huntingdon Town Council's February 24 agenda:
- Public Hearing relating to the proposed amendment to the Zoning Map to rezone a portion of property located on R.B. Wilson Drive and Chickasaw Drive identified as Carroll County Tax Map 63, Parcel 49.03.
- Ordinance No. 654, an ordinance amending the Official Zoning Map of Huntingdon, Tennessee, a portion of property (Tax Map 63, Parcel 49.03 and adjacent right-of- way) located on R.B. Wilson Drive and Chickasaw Drive, which is owned by Ensley Dirtwork & Investment Properties LLC and Beaver Creek Management Group LLC, from H-M (Hospital-Medical) to R-1 (Low-Density Residential), second and final reading.
- Ordinance No. 655, an ordinance amending the Official Zoning Map of Huntingdon, Tennessee, by rezoning a property (Tax Map 63, Parcel 23.00 and a portion of Crossroads Church right-of-way located directly between the two sections of property being annexed) located at the Northeast corner of Northwood Drive and Crossroads Church Road from R-1 (Low-Density Residential) to R-2 (Medium-Density Residential). The property is owned by Ashlee Young and it is proposed for development by Jason Kirby and Collin Miller. The property comprises approximately 66.8 acres, first reading.
- Consider the appointment of the executive director of The Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center.
- Consider the request for the use of Edwards Park and Veterans Park on Saturday, June 6, 2026 for softball tournament fundraiser for Jacob Warbritton.
- Consider moving Tuesday, March 24, 2026 regular monthly meeting to Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
