Huntingdon Main Street Christmas Schedule

The Town of Huntingdon and The Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center present Main Street Christmas Saturday, December 6 through Monday, December 8. The three-day event promises holiday magic, family fun and community spirit.

Saturday, December 6
Food trucks will line Court Square from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

There will be pop-up vendors inside the First Baptist Church Family Life Center from 1-5:30 p.m.

Mudslingers hosts holiday ornament-making classes from 10 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Attendees will make 4-5 custom Christmas ornaments using slab-cut techniques and hand-painting.

The Dixie hosts “Christmas at The Dixie” from 7:30-9 p.m. This year’s cast includes Annh Browder, Mitchell Brown, Chelsea Fuller Brown, Lee Carter, Madilyn Dudley, Hannah Eaton, Nathan Eaton, Lindsay Johnson, Katie McGill and Jessica Morgan Tucker. This event is part of the The Sugarbaker Sampler and The Holbrook Headliner Season Ticket packages. Tickets for this show are $15-25, plus taxes.

Sunday, December 7
The Dixie presents “The Wizards of Winter” — a holiday rock opera featuring world-class musicians from TSO, Def Leppard, Blue Oyster Cult and more — from 3-4:30 p.m. Tickets include a digital photo with Santa before the show (1-2:30 p.m.), a hot cocoa and goodie bar, and a goodie bag with each child’s ticket, given out after the show. Tickets are $30.

Monday, December 8
Huntingdon’s annual Christmas Parade is Monday at 6:30 p.m. on Main Street.
