Huntingdon Appoints Interim Police, Fire Chiefs
From the Mar 18, 2025 e-EditionHUNTINGDON (March 11) — The Huntingdon Town Council held a special meeting on March 11 at Huntingdon City Hall to formally appoint Jason Oliver as Interim Chief of Police and John Fordon as Interim Fire Chief.
Oliver, a longtime member of the police department, steps into the role during the transition period. Fordon will lead the fire department as officials assess long-term leadership plans.
The town’s leadership emphasized the importance of maintaining stability in both departments. Further updates on permanent appointments are expected in the coming months.
