Huntingdon Marching Invitational is Saturday
From the Oct 1, 2024 e-EditionThe annual Huntingdon Marching Invitational is Saturday, October 5 at Paul Ward Stadium on the campus of Huntingdon High School. Nineteen bands will compete and the Huntingdon Marching Mustangs will perform in exhibition during the day-long event. Huntingdon performs at 9:45 a.m.
The preliminary competition schedule is as follows:
Class A: 10 a.m. Haywood High School, 10:12 a.m. Halls, 10:24 a.m. Hollow Rock-Bruceton.
Class AA: 10:36 a.m. Dyersburg, 10:48 a.m. West Carroll, 11 a.m. McEwen, and 11:12 a.m. McKenzie.
Class AAA: 11:40 a.m. Bolivar, 11:52 a.m. Riverside, 12:04 p.m. Camden, 12:16 Milan, 12:28 p.m. Scotts Hill.
Class AAAA: 1:40 p.m. Chester County, 1:52 p.m. Forest, 2:04 p.m. Crockett Co., 2:16 p.m. Gibson County, 2:28 p.m. Dyer County, 2:40 p.m. Camp Station, and 2:52 p.m. Henry County.
Preliminary awards will be presented at 3:04 p.m.
Dinner break is 3:30-5:30 p.m.
The finals competition begins at 5:30 p.m. for the bands that advance to the second round of competition.
Final awards presentation is 7:50 p.m.
