Huntingdon City Council to Consider Paving Bids

Huntingdon Mayor and Council convene Tuesday, May 27, 5:15 p.m. at Huntingdon City Hall.

The new business is as follows.

1. Consider bid award for 2025 Street Resurfacing Project.

The bids were Arrow Paving at $137 per ton; Martin Paving at $133.12 per ton, and Murray Paving at $133.60 per ton. Martin Paving of Medina is the apparent low bidder at an estimated price of $182,708 for paving select streets in the town.

2. Consider the Carroll County Juneteenth Committee’s request to use Edwards Park for the Juneteenth Freedom Festival on Friday, June 20, 2025 and Saturday, June 21, 2025.

3. Consider Omni Family of Services’ request to use Sesquicentennial Park on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

4. Consider Eastview Baptist Church’s request to use Sesquicentennial Park on Saturday, July 19, 2025.

5. Consider the Fiscal Year 2024 Audit report.
