Huntingdon Police Reports

Theft of Property — According to a report dated August 26, Sgt. Ethan Parham responded to a residence on Hillcourt Circle in Huntingdon regarding bank fraud. The investigation found that Danielle A. Watford, 51, had accessed another person’s Chime account and used approximately $3,000 without permission. A warrant was issued for Watford for theft of property over $2,500.

Theft of Merchandise — According to a report dated August 13, Officer Brad Allen responded to Walmart in Huntingdon for a shoplifting complaint. Store security stated that Jerry N. Neisler, 54, had taken items on multiple dates without paying. On June 28 he took $99.06 in items, on July 5 $78.63, on July 27 $28.57, and on Aug. 12 $81.71, for a total of $287.97. Neisler was cited into Carroll County General Sessions Court for theft of property involving merchandise under $1,000.

Burglary, Theft of Merchandise — According to a report dated September 12, Sgt. Ethan Parham responded to Walmart in Huntingdon for a shoplifting and trespassing complaint. Store security reported that Brylyn Demarini, 25, had previously been banned from all Walmart properties and had signed a trespass notice on Aug. 10, 2022. Despite the ban, Demarini was found on the premises and had also taken deli wings valued at $11.96 on July 21 and again on Sept. 9, totaling $23.92 in restitution owed. She was charged with burglary and theft of property and transported to Carroll County Jail.

Driving Under the Influence, Violation of Implied Consent — According to a report dated September 12, Sgt. Ethan Parham responded to a reckless driver complaint on Highway 70 in Huntingdon. A gray Nissan Altima, driven by Anna Campbell, 23, was observed drifting off the roadway before reentering the lane and creating a large cloud of dust.

During the stop, Campbell showed multiple signs of intoxication, including slurred speech, glassy eyes, and delayed responses. She admitted to drinking earlier that morning and agreed to perform field sobriety tests but said she did not believe she would pass. Campbell performed poorly on all three tests, including missing steps and losing balance. At one point, Sgt. Parham had to physically assist her to prevent her from falling into a ditch. Campbell also stated she felt like she was going to vomit.

After being read the Implied Consent form, Campbell refused a blood test. She was arrested and transported to Carroll County Jail, where she was charged with driving under the influence and violation of implied consent.

Coercion of a Witness, Violation of Order of Protection, Harassment — According to a report made on Sept. 10, Officer Dexter Richardson reported that Ja’Shawn Turner, 18, violated a no contact order while out on bail from a prior domestic case. Between July 22 and July 23, Turner sent 98 text and Instagram messages to the victim, including statements attempting to influence her cooperation in prosecution. Turner was later located at a residence on Cotham Drive in Huntingdon, where he was taken into custody and transported to Carroll County Jail. He was charged with coercion of a witness, violation of an order of protection, and harassment.
