From the Feb 25, 2025 e-EditionBurglary — On February 4, Sgt. Tony King responded to a call of burglary in progress at Sonic in Huntingdon. An employee was watching the store video from another location. As an entry was made the subject was hidden in the office. Justin A Mackey, 22, of Huntingdon, was arrested for breaking and entering and burglary. He had a backpack which had tools consistent with burglaries.
Driving on Revoked Driver’s License, Violation of Registration — On February 14, Officer Kristen Lee was dispatched to a reckless driver call on Highway 70 west. A traffic stop was made in the Murphy’s gas station. The driver, Drake T. Lovell, 18, of Huntingdon, was driving on a suspended license and an unregistered vehicle. Lovell was cited into General Sessions and was advised he had 10 days to book into Carroll County Jail.
Vandalism — On February 2, Officer Jonathan McDowell responded to a call that involved reckless burning and was determined by Huntingdon Fire to be domestic related. The defendant, Kiowa Geans, 34, of Huntingdon, became angry and started burning personal property that belonged to his roommate without permission. He was cited for vandalism.
Driving on Revoked, Suspended Driver’s License — On January 19, Officer Jonathan McDowell along with Officer Daniel Inman observed a car driving at a high rate of speed on Veterans Dr. The driver Brittany Hillard, 35, had a suspended driver’s license. She was given 10 days to book into Carroll County Jail.
