From the Apr 16, 2024 e-EditionDriving on Revoked, Speeding — Amber M. Hillard, 36, of Huntingdon, was arrested on April 7, for Driving on a Suspended License. Officer Townes initiated a traffic stop when the radar picked up Hilliard driving 72 in a 55-mph speed zone. A computer check confirmed Hillard had a suspended license.
Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Contact, Assault on a First Responder (Simple) — Juvenile, of Huntingdon, was taken into custody on April 4 after being under investigation for making threats to cause bodily harm towards other minors and possibly have an assault rifle in possession. Officers received permission to search the residence by the juvenile’s mother but did not find an assault rifle. Officers received information shortly after leaving the residence that the juvenile had the rifle in his possession moments before they arrived. Officers went directly back to the address and the juvenile and his sister would not follow commands. They were put in handcuffs and taken into juvenile court. The gun was found under the mother’s bed and was a BB gun that just looked realistic.
