Huntingdon Town Council Meets November 25

The Huntingdon Town Council will meet November 25 at 5:15 p.m. in Huntingdon City Hall, located at 19810 Main Street East, Huntingdon.
 
Krista Martin will address the council regarding Friends of the Dixie involvement at The Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center over the last several months.
 
New Business On the Agenda:
 
1. Ordinance No. 645, an ordinance to amend Title 12 of the Huntingdon Municipal Code, relative to building and utility codes, second and final reading.
 
2. Ordinance No. 646, an ordinance to amend Chapter 5, Americans with Disabilities Act Program; Title 4, Municipal Personnel of the Huntingdon Municipal Code, second and final reading.
 
3. Ordinance No. 647, an ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Huntingdon to revise provisions governing single-family residential uses allowed in B-3 (Central Business) Districts, first reading.
 
4. Ordinance No. 648, an ordinance amending the official Zoning Map of Huntingdon, Tennessee, to rezone a portion of the James Realty (Cash Saver) property (20150 Main Street) to B-1 (Neighborhood Business) zoning designation from its existing designation of R-2 (Medium Density Residential), first reading.
 
5. Ordinance No. 649, an ordinance to amend Title 8, Alcoholic Beverages of the Huntingdon Municipal Code as set forth in Ordinance 586, Chapter 2, Beer, amending Section 18-211. Interference with public health and safety, prohibited., first reading.
 
6. Ordinance No. 650, an ordinance to amend Title 8, Alcoholic Beverages of the Huntingdon Municipal Code, Chapter 1, Intoxicating Liquors, adding Section 8-117, Limitation on number of permits, first reading.
 
7. Ordinance No. 651, an ordinance to amend Chapter 2, Personnel Regulations, Title 4, Municipal Personnel of the Huntingdon Municipal Code, as it pertains to an employee probationary status, first reading.
 
8. Consider bid award for purchase of one (1) 2025 Ford F-150 4x4 Supercrew truck for the Police Department.
 
9. Consider moving Tuesday, December 23, 2025 regular monthly meeting to Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
