Huntingdon Town Council to Meet January 27

The Huntingdon Town Council meets Tuesday, January 27 at Huntingdon City Hall at 5:15 p.m.
The council will discuss/vote on the following new business items:
- Public Hearing relating to the proposed text amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to create provisions governing Specialty Smoke and Vape Shops.
- Ordinance No. 652, an ordinance amending the Official Zoning Ordinance of Huntingdon, Tennessee, to create provisions governing Specialty Smoke and Vape Shops, second and final reading.
- Ordinance No. 653, an ordinance to amend Chapter 2, Personnel Regulations; Title 4 Municipal Personnel and Chapter 18, Water & Sewers, Chapter 1, Water of the Huntingdon Municipal Code, as it pertains to Department of Finance and Administration Office hours, second and final reading.
- Ordinance No. 654, an ordinance amending the Official Zoning Map of Huntingdon, Tennessee, a portion of property (Tax Map 63, Parcel 49.03 and adjacent right-of-way) located on R.B. Wilson Drive and Chickasaw Drive, which is owned by Ensley Dirtwork & Investment Properties LLC and Beaver Creek Management Group LLC, from H-M (Hospital-Medical) to R-1 (Low-Density Residential), first reading.
- Consider bid award for the purchase of one (1) 2026 Ford Maverick Pickup for the Utility Department.
