Inclusion: Coming Together to Play
From the May 7, 2024 e-Edition
HUNTINGDON (May 4) — The pieces are being assembled for all children to play inclusively. Carroll County Inclusion Park is coming together as workers busily assembling all the special playground equipment in preparation for children’s play.
The drone photograph reveals the progress of the assembly. The ADA-compliant restrooms with adjustable height changing stations are constructed.
The playground will include equipment for all children, regardless of physical limitations, to enjoy. A sensory area will also be included for those students on the spectrum. Soon the rubber-like ground cover will install in and around the equipment.
