Carroll County Inclusion Park Receives Offers For Free Concrete Work
From the Mar 31, 2026 e-Edition
HUNTINGDON (March 30) — The Carroll County Inclusion Park had recently announced it was seeking bids to repair chipped concrete surfaces, but an official told The Banner Monday afternoon that bids are no longer needed as several entities yet to be named have offered to contribute to the project free of charge.
Lori Dillahunty, head chairperson for the nonprofit that operates and maintains the park, told The Banner, “We love what this project stands for, and we are honored in all of the ways that the community supports it. I’m really grateful that every time we’ve had a need, people have been willing to step up and be supportive and fill that need, making this a place that people want to take care of for years to come.”
The project will require full demolition and repouring of the concrete.
The companies and individuals who are donating their services will be recognized when the details are finalized, according to Dillahunty.
