Mr. Birdwell, 78, died on Monday, February 9, 2026, at his residence. He retired from Gaines MFG and McKenzie Feed & Grain as a small engine repairman. He was born in McKenzie on December 30, 1947, to the late James and Pauline Harrison Birdwell.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Theresa Bryant Birdwell, a sister, Brenda (Billy) Harrison of McKenzie, Charles (Lydia) Birdwell of Greenfield, Dale (Kathy) Birdwell of McKenzie, and Joe Birdwell of McKenzie.
