Mrs. Smothers, 82, died at her residence on December 10, 2024. She was born in Henry, Tenn. on November 19, 1942, to Bruce S. McFadden and Mildred Haynes Hundley.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Smothers of McKenzie; her daughter, Melanie Spann of Louisville, Kentucky a granddaughter, Felicia Smith of Paris; a sister, Kathy (Timmy) Gearin of Gleason; and brother, Joe (Martha) McFadden of Medina.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, David Adams; sisters Shirley Pierce, June Howell, Madeline Barker, and Judy Finley, and her brothers, Billy McFadden, Gordon Ray McFadden, and Tommy McFadden.
