From the Jul 2, 2024 e-EditionHUNTINGDON - Mrs. Janice Chandler, 83, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, died Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Huntingdon Health & Rehab.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024, in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Brother Bryan Oakes and Brother Clint Ezell officiating.
Mrs. Chandler was born December 4, 1940 to the late Gerald Carter and Frances Rich Carter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Chandler, son. Kim Hicks. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.
She is survived by one son, Jason (Tina) Hicks of Huntingdon, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Samantha (Dale) Bradley, Shawn Hicks, Miranda (Josh) Ragbeer, Jason Hicks, and Jacob Hicks.
Dilday-Carter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements 731-986-8281.
