Jeanna Marie Thompson

BUENA VISTA, TENN.  — Mrs. Jeanna Marie Thompson, 52, of Buena Vista, died Tuesday, May 5, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital – Carroll County.

Funeral services were Friday, May 8, at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Buena Vista with Bro. George Avery and Bro. James Selph officiating. Burial was in McAuley Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Thompson was born on October 30, 1973, in Paris, Tenn., to the late Donald “Buddy” Oneil Perry and Opal Mae Lowery Perry. She was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church and worked as a supervisor at Hydro-Gear in Huntingdon, where she also served on the first responder team.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years Keith Thompson, three sons, Clay Thompson (Tyler) from Hollow Rock, Hunter Thompson (Halie) of Buena Vista, and Dillon Thompson (Hannah) of Clarksburg, a brother John Perry of Paris, a brother-in-law, Chris Thompson of Memphis, a sister, Joyce Noles (Randall) of Buena Vista. She also leaves three grandchildren with two more on the way, Graham Thompson, Sunny Thompson, Tate Thompson, Ryder Thompson, and five nephews, Russell Noles, Kyle Noles, Phillip Perry, Alex Perry, and Blake Perry.
