Jessie Townes Announces Re-Election Candidacy

I, Jessie Lee Townes, Sr. would like to take this opportunity to formally announce my candidacy for re-election to the McKenzie City Council. I have represented my hometown of the City of McKenzie for the past 12 years and have served as Vice-Mayor for the past 5 years.

I have been employed with EW James & Sons for 46 years and have served as assistant manager in various locations, prior to returning to the McKenzie store. Additionally, I have owned my lawn care service for 30 years where I have taken care of several residents in the McKenzie area and other nearby communities.

I am married to Cheryl Oglesby-Townes, and we have three children: Jessie, Jr., Samantha, and Breonna. I am most proud to be “Papa” to six grandchildren: Serenity, Milania, Emery, Ivy, Ava, and Nova.
