From the Jan 27, 2026 e-EditionMcKENZIE, Tenn. — Funeral services for John. H. Doub are tentatively scheduled for Friday, January 30, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery, McKenzie.
Mr. Doub, 87, died Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Cherrywood Post Acute. He was a member of First Baptist Church, a Marine, a Mason, and a retired rolling supervisor at Norandal. He was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on March 22, 1938, to John H. and Agnes Stephen Doub.
He is survived by his son, Chris Doub, of McKenzie, his granddaughter, Crystal (Matt) Brasfield, and his great-grandson, Bo Tyler Brasfield.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Eleanor Doub.
