From the Jan 13, 2026 e-EditionTREZEVANT, Tenn. — Funeral services for John Henry Long are on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Trezevant Church of Christ at 2 p.m.
The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Cremation will follow the service.
Mr. Long, 80, was a member of Trezevant Church of Christ and a retired Labtech for Dupont. He was born in Carroll County on March 11, 1945, to Shillie and Lovie Algee Long.
He is survived by three sons: Ken Long, John N. Long, and Scott Long.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Nina Rae Long, and four sisters, Doris Berry, Callie Wilson, Lennie Bell and Carolyn Monroe.
