From the May 26, 2026 e-EditionMrs. Joy Lou Hodge, 76, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Monday May 18, 2026 at Life Care Center.
Funeral services were on Thursday, May 21, 2026, in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment was in Farmville Cemetery. Brother Hunter Jones officiating.
Joy was born September 1, 1949 to the late Max Todd Hodge and Kenny Marie Maness. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Hodge and Donald Hodge; one sister, Cathy Hodge.
She is survived by one daughter, Jamie Jones of Tampa, Florida; three sons, Brad (Amber) Douglas of Huntingdon, Tennessee, Barry (Melissa) Douglas of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Matthew Gregory; two sisters, Carolyn McGuire of Hollow Rock, Tennessee and Faye (Lynn) Davidson of Nashville, Tennessee; two brothers, Charles Hodge of Yuma, Tennessee and Danny (Rhonda) Hodge of Yuma, Tennessee; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
