Carroll County Plus Paris Landing
From the Jul 1, 2025 e-EditionThe following list of events for Independence Day in Carroll County was provided by the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce.
July 4, McLemoresville Parade and Fireworks, downtown, 5:30 p.m. parade (Lineup is 5 p.m.), cakewalk, street dance with music by Wallace and Company. Food available is homemade ice cream, hamburgers, and hot dogs.
July 4, Freedom Festival, McKenzie Recreation Park. Food trucks will be open for business at 6 p.m. Mayor Ryan Griffin will provide the welcome message, Patriotic music will be provided by Ady Freeman and Fireworks at dark.
July 4 and 5, Clayhill Motorsports Park, racing and fireworks, gates open at 5:30 p.m.
4th of July Fireworks at Paris Landing State Park
Don't miss the 4th of July Fireworks celebration at Paris Landing State Park, sponsored by the Paris-Henry County Chamber, Henry County Tourism Authority, and Paris Landing State Park. The fireworks will take place on Friday, July 4th, in the beach area, and will begin shortly after dark. Be aware that swimming will not be allowed in the beach area after 2:00 PM due to necessary set-up preparations.
Indulge in a variety of delicious food and beverages from the Friends of Paris Landing, Perry's BBQ, and other vendors on-site. We are also offering special family programs throughout the weekend at the Nature Center, designed for guests of all ages. Important Reminders:
- Personal fireworks and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.
- Do not park on the bridge; law enforcement and staff will be directing traffic to ensure safety.
- The picnic area will be off-limits to the public once the fireworks display concludes.
