McLEMORESVILLE — Mrs. June Kennedy, 89, of McLemoresville, Tennessee, died Sunday, August 23, 2026, at her home.
Funeral services are at 1 PM on Friday, August 28, 2026, in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Obion Chapel Cemetery. Brother Darrell Ridgely will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Friday from 11 AM until the service at 1 PM.
Mrs. Kennedy was born May 20, 1937. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Clifton Kennedy; grandmother, Cora Belle House; aunt, Ola Mae House; uncle, Everett Dean House; brother, Charles Sutton; and a member of McLemoresville Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Gena (Michael) Lavery of Northlake, Illinois; Karen (Dennis Hayslip) Schultz of Princeton, Texas; and Pam (John) Reynolds of Buda, Texas; five grandchildren, Frank Soto, Matthew Schultz, Amanda Soto, Jennifer Galuszka, and Anna Lavery; and one great-grandson, Zackary Alexander Soto.
