From the Dec 23, 2025 e-EditionMr. Kenneth Pate, 77, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, died Monday, December 15, 2025, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Liberty All Cemetery, Brother Hunter Jones officiating.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
Mr. Pate was born May 4, 1948, to the late Jesse Pate and Aline Pate and was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Pate.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Paula Pate of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one brother Charles Pate of Powder Springs, Georgia; three sisters, Frances Hesselgrave of Marietta, Georgia, Joyce McCoy of Buchanan, Tennessee, and Linda Pate of Jackson, Tennessee; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Honoring him as pallbearers will be Jason Compton, Brad Douglas, Braden Douglas, Jerry Nolen, Dale Aden, Joey Richardson and Carter Compton.
Dilday-Carter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements 731-986-8281.
