Kevin Blake Volner

LAVINIA, Tenn. - Kevin Blake Volner, age 15, of Lavinia, died as a result of an ATV accident on September 27, 2026. He was born on February 8, 2011.

Kevin was a student at West Carroll High School and was baptized at Christian Chapel Church of Christ. He was a young man who brought joy and friendship to those around him. His friends were his everything, and the memories he made with them will be cherished forever.

Kevin had a passion for anything with an engine. He loved working on engines and figuring out how things worked. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. Those who knew Kevin will remember his adventurous spirit, his love of his friends and family, and the special way he brought people together.

Kevin leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Ashley Volner of Lavinia; his Gigi, Julie Ann Drake of Cedar Grove, Tennessee; and his great-grandparents, Judy and Bill Volner and Jack and Patricia Nunley.

A Celebration of Life for Kevin will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Bodkin Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Though his life was far too short, Kevin made a lasting impact on the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, classmates, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
