Lady Bulldogs Rout Greenfield
From the Apr 14, 2026 e-EditionGREENFIELD (April 7) — Greenfield High School hosted Gleason Tuesday for a district softball contest. The visiting Lady Bulldogs scored early and often en route to a 20-0 win in three innings.
Gleason scored 13 runs in the top of the first frame, five in the second and two in the third.
Lady Bulldog Ava Bennett was 4-for-4 with an RBI, three runs scored and four stolen bases. Brylee Robertson was 1-for-1 with a triple, a walk, two RBIs and two runs scored. Kristiana Addison was 1-for-1 with a walk, two RBIs, two runs scored and two stolen bases. Olivia Scarbrough was 1-for-1 with a double, an RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base. Sophie Beasley was 1-for-1 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base. Maya Bouazra was 1-for-1 with a walk and two RBIs. Presley Scott was 1-for-1 with a run scored.
Lady Bulldog Marley Crews was 0-for-0 with two walks, three RBIs and three runs scored. Emma Pettit was 0-for-0 with three walks, three RBIs and a run scored. Karlie Wilson was 0-for-0 with a walk, two runs scored and a stolen base. Kinley Baumgartel was 0-for-0 with two walks and a run scored. Haylye Roberts was 0-for-0 with a walk and an RBI. Zoe Healy was 0-for-0 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base. Kadence Witherspoon was 0-for-1 with a walk and a run scored.
Lady Yellowjacket Kionna Thomas was 1-for-1 with a double. Aubrie Clark and Reagan Reynolds were each 1-for-1.
Emma Pettit earned the win for Gleason, allowing no runs on three hits while walking two and striking out one in one inning. Marley Crews pitched the final inning, allowing no runs, hits or walks with one strikeout.
Reagan Reynolds got the start for Greenfield but didn't record an out, allowing seven earned runs on one hit and five walks. Kionna Thomas pitched two innings of relief and took the loss, allowing 11 earned runs on eight hits and seven walks. Aubrie Clark recorded one out in the final inning before the game was called, allowing two earned runs on one hit and three walks.
