Lady Rebels Defeat Bradford, 13-7
From the Apr 21, 2026 e-EditionBRADFORD (April 14) — Bradford High School softball hosted McKenzie Tuesday. The visiting Lady Rebels' lineup produced offense from top to bottom as they took a 13-7 road victory over the Lady Red Devils.
McKenzie struck first with a run in the top of the first. Bradford briefly took the lead with two runs in the home half, but the Lady Rebels tied it in the top of the second and pulled away with five runs in the third and three in the fifth. The Lady Red Devils rallied for five in the bottom of the fifth, but McKenzie added three more in the sixth.
Lady Rebel Haylee Beard was 2-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored. Ridley Holt was 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored. Kailie Hudgins was 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Addyson Littleton was 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored. Maggie Hall was 2-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base. Danie Parker was 1-for-4 with two RBIs and three runs scored. Braylin Auvenshine was 1-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored. Aurora Johnson was 1-for-4 with a walk and a run scored. Kynadie Brown was 0-for-5 with an RBI.
Lady Red Devils Cara Copous and Abby Glisson were both 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base. Paige Allen was 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI. Leah Page was 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and an RBI. Rylee Jorgensen was 0-for-2 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base. Calley Graves was 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored.
Braylin Auvenshine earned the complete-game win for McKenzie, allowing seven runs (five earned) on six hits while walking four and striking out six.
Olivia McAfee got the start for Bradford, allowing seven runs (two earned) on six hits while walking one in three innings. Cara Copous pitched the final four innings, allowing six runs (one earned) on seven hits while walking none and striking out four.
