Lady Rebels Fall 3-1 to South Gibson
From the Sep 16, 2025 e-EditionMEDINA (September 8) — The McKenzie Lady Rebels traveled Monday to face South Gibson in a nondistrict volleyball match, falling in four sets to the Class AA Lady Hornets.
South Gibson took the first set 25-9, but the Lady Rebels rallied to take the second 25-21. The Lady Hornets claimed the match by winning the third and fourth sets, both 25-18.
Lady Rebel Ridley Holt had five aces and two kills. Molly French had one ace and three kills. Addison Milam had three kills and a block. Jaycee Stafford had two aces, two kills, one dig, two assists and two blocks. Kynadie Brown had two aces and four assists. Ashley Dunavant had one kill and four digs. Kynlee Barden had two aces and two digs.
