Lady Rebels Fall to Milan in Season Finale

McKENZIE (May 1) — McKenzie High School softball closed the regular season Thursday with a home loss to Milan, 5-0.
Pitching and defense dominated the first three innings, but Milan finally broke through with a pair of runs in the fourth and followed up with three in the fifth.
Lady Rebel Braylin Auvenshine was 1-for-3. Maggie Hall went 0-for-1 with a walk and a stolen base, and Ady Freeman was 0-for-1 with a walk.
Aurora Johnson took the complete-game loss for McKenzie, allowing five earned runs on seven hits while striking out eight and walking one.
