Lady Rebels Win Against Peabody on Senior Night

McKENZIE (April 25) — On Thursday, the McKenzie High School Softball Team hosted Trenton Peabody celebrating senior night for their lone senior, Jaleah Moore. The Lady Rebels picked up a 3-2 win, improving their record to 4-9 on the season.
The Lady Rebels started off the game defending very well. There were a few fielding errors but the girls adjusted and got three outs without a run. In the bottom of the first inning Jaleah Moore got a hit that sent Haylee Bread home. Aubrey Jackson got a base hit that got Carli Beeler home which put McKenzie up 2-0 going into the second inning. Peabody got one run in the second inning. McKenzie was still up 2-1 in the bottom of the third when Moore hit a double that got Beard home. Peabody scored one more run which ended the game 3-2 with the Lady Rebels on top.
