Lady Rebels Take Tough Loss to McEwen

McKENZIE (April 22) — McKenzie High School hosted McEwen Tuesday for a district softball contest and took a tough 10-0 loss.
The Lady Warriors scored a pair in the first, one in the second, two in the fourth and five in the seventh for the shutout.
Lady Rebel Aurora Johnson had the team's lone hit.
Braylin Auvenshine took the complete-game loss for McKenzie, allowing ten runs (seven earned) on eight hits while striking out two and walking six.
Tylee Tummins led the Lady Warrior offense with a pair of home runs and three RBIs.
Ava Lastovka earned the complete-game, one-hit shutout for McEwen, striking out 14 and walking one.
