Lady Rebels Top Milan on Eighth Grade Night

McKENZIE (September 23) - McKenzie Middle School hosted Milan Monday for a soccer match as the season winds down. The Lady Rebels were in control throughout the game, earning a 3-1 win.

Prior to the contest, nine eighth graders were recognized on the field, joined by their parents: MaKayla Dabbs, daughter of David and Amanda Dabbs; Sophie Dameron, daughter of Danita and Steven Dameron; Ellie Doede, daughter of Jennifer and Jeremy Doede; Genesis Banuelos, daughter of Megan Morgan and Derik Banuelos; Alleigh Britt, daughter of Jennifer and Paul Horton and Jeff Britt; Meghan Cowan, daughter of Amanda and Brent Cowan; Ava Graham, daughter of Melissa and James Graham; Claire Kee, daughter of Benji and Courtney Kee; and Kamyah Gordon, daughter of Ashley and David Gordon.

The three McKenzie goals were scored by MaKayla Dabbs, Sophie Dameron and Alleigh Britt. Ellie Doede had a pair of assists.

Alleigh Britt was goalkeeper for the first half, notching three saves. Anna Summers took over the net for the second half and had four saves.
