Lady Tigers Defeat Dresden, 12-3
From the Apr 21, 2026 e-EditionDRESDEN (April 13) — Dresden High School softball hosted the Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Lady Tigers Monday. Central scored early and often to earn a 12-3 victory.
The Lady Tigers struck first with a pair of runs in the top of the first. The Lady Lions tied it with two in the home half, but Central scored a run in both the third and fourth, then pulled away with three in the top of the fifth. Dresden managed one run in the bottom half. The Lady Tigers sealed the win with five runs in the sixth.
Lady Tiger Kyleigh Baker was 1-for-4 with a home run, two RBIs and one run scored. Amelia Bennett was 2-for-3 with a triple, a sacrifice fly, an RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base. McKenzye Castleman was 2-for-4 with an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base. Abby Baker was 2-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored. Cloe Morgan was 1-for-3 with a triple, a sacrifice fly and two RBIs. Madison Holder was 1-for-4 with a walk, an RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base. Lilly McGee was 1-for-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base. Emy Olds was 1-for-4 with an RBI. Addison Tucker was 1-for-4 with a run scored and two stolen bases.
Lady Lion Jacie West was 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Molly Robinson was 1-for-3 with two RBIs. Gracie Adams and Kayden Barnett were both 1-for-3 with a run scored.
Kyleigh Baker earned the complete-game win for Central, allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits while walking none and striking out eight.
Jacie West took the loss for Dresden, allowing seven runs (four earned) on eight hits while walking one and striking out one in five innings. Caylin Boaz pitched the last two frames, allowing five earned runs on four hits with no walks.
