McKENZIE (September 10) — McKenzie Middle School Lady Rebel softball hosted Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Tuesday. The Lady Tigers scored in each inning for an 11-1 road win.

Lady Rebel Ruthie Adkins was 2-for-2. Ridley Holt reached on an error to drive in McKenzie’s lone run. Sami Mathis had a walk and a run scored.

Abby Baker led the Lady Tiger offense, going 4-for-4 with a double and five RBIs. Amelia Bennett was 2-for-2 with a walk and three runs scored. Belle Blankenship was 2-for-3 with three runs scored. Kylie Craig was 1-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored. Seiley Parish was 1-or-1 with a walk and an RBI. Molly Moore was 1-for-3. Lexi Moore was 1-for-2 with a double, a walk and a run scored. Deaven Whittenburg was 1-for-3 with a double.

Baker earned the win in the circle for Central, allowing one unearned run on two hits, striking out seven and walking two in five innings.

Adkins took the loss for McKenzie, allowing eleven runs (seven earned) on 13 hits while striking out seven and walking four over five innings.
