Lady War Eagles Sign Scholarships

ATWOOD — Wednesday, April 20 was a watershed day for the West Carroll Lady Eagles Basketball team with four players signing college scholarships and two more possibly signing in the near future. This is likely the largest number of players from one class to be signed to college scholarships in the school’s history.
Erin Norman committed and signed with Freed-Hardeman University during the season. Erin’s parents are Erica Norman and Shauntes Norman.
Mia Jones had several offers and chose to sign with Chattanooga State on April 20. Mia’s parents are Shaneka Jones and Gayle Kendrick.
Amaya Thompson committed to and signed with Bryn Athyn College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her parents are Yaritza Pagan and Craig Thompson.
Jayden Rader accepted a scholarship offer from Blue Mountain College in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. Her parent is Nancy Rader.
Two other Lady War Eagles have offers on the table. Octavia Jones has an offer from a school in Missouri and Tatym Keymon has an offer from Dyersburg State.
