LEACH (August 4) — The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) officially reopened Lake Halford Monday following the completion of the paving project.
Lake Halford has been temporarily closed while paving crews replaced the existing asphalt and marked parking spaces with painted lines to enhance access to the lake.
A statement released by TWRA says, “We extend our sincere appreciation to the community for their patience during this period of closure.”
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is responsible for protecting, managing and conserving fish and wildlife species for the benefit of Tennesseans and visitors. The Agency also maintains public safety through law enforcement and safety education on waterways.
