McKENZIE— Mrs. Lavida Mae James, 67, of McKenzie, Tennessee died Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.

Lavida was born June 18, 1958, in Linden, Texas to the late Frank Hunt
and Annie Mae Hunt.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Charlie Hunt and one sister, Cathy Lee.
She is survived by two sons, Arturo Martinez Jr. and Phillip Martinez;
one daughter, Carrie Perez; one brother Jimmy (Bo) Hunt; two sisters,
Debra Glisson and Lisa Wortham; five grandchildren and many nieces and
nephews.
