Liberty All Memorial Day Program

The people of Liberty All Church, 2415 Old Stage Road, Huntingdon, will honor the seventy-eight veterans buried in its cemetery on Sunday, May 24, at 10:45 a.m.
The guest speaker is Lieutenant Colonel Emily Wolfe (Retired U.S. Air Force). She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a degree in nursing, then immediately joined the Air Force. During her distinguished 21-year military career, she served on active duty at Air Force bases in Mississippi and Ohio as a medical/surgical/pediatrics nurse, and in Japan as a flight nurse and executive officer. As a reservist, she served at bases in Texas and California.
Emily deployed four times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Inherent Resolve, and Operation Freedom’s Sentinel, including two deployments to Germany and two to Afghanistan.
Emily’s husband, Brett Wolfe, is a retired combat medic who served 23 years in the Air Force. They, along with their daughter Remy, live in Huntingdon.
Emily now serves as a civilian with the Joint Trauma System, Military Orthopedic Trauma Registry, continuing her commitment to caring for America’s service members and veterans.
