LIFELINE Blood Services Hosts Annual ‘Gift from The Heart’ Blood Drive
From the Feb 4, 2025 e-EditionLIFELINE Blood Services invites the community to participate in its annual “Gift from The Heart” Blood Drive, encouraging donors to give blood and save lives in February.
The event will be held at two locations:
Dyersburg Center — Saturday, February 8, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Jackson Center — Thursday, February 13, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Marketing Manager Melinda Reid shared the importance of the event: “Share the love and save a life! Your selfless donation, which takes only 30-45 minutes, will directly impact the 21 counties we serve.”
All donors will receive a Valentine-themed donor t-shirt and a box of chocolates. Additionally, donors at the Jackson Center will be entered into a special giveaway drawing.
LIFELINE Blood Services operates year-round, collecting 26,000 blood products annually, supporting 21 counties, 17 emergency helicopter services, and one ground ambulance service. The organization also provides critical reference lab and cross-matching services for healthcare facilities.
