Local Student Attends UTM Governor’s School

MARTIN — Ansley Hollingsworth of Carroll County was among 49 students statewide to participate in the Tennessee Governor’s School for the Humanities during the month of June. This four-week summer program is hosted at the University of Tennessee at Martin and offers rising high school juniors and seniors an opportunity to experience a collegiate atmosphere and earn college credit in a range of humanities-based courses. The program allows students to engage in credit courses and non-credit enrichment courses and offers seminars and guest speakers.
