Man Arrested After Henry County Drug Search

PARIS (July 26) — The Henry County Sheriff's Office arrested Kenneth Nance on Sunday after Deputy Lucas Riddick observed him throwing three syringes away in a garbage can near a business on East Wood Street.

The Henry County Sheriff's Office searched Nance's vehicle after a positive K-9 alert by K-9 Lisa and found approximately two ounces of methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, a prohibited weapon and other drug paraphernalia in his possession.

Nance was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a prohibited weapon. He was booked into the Henry County Jail and placed on a $250,000 bond.

The Henry County Sheriff's Office was assisted on the scene by the Paris Police Department.
